1. Platform Usage
CHOWK provides a digital neighborhood platform connecting local businesses, service providers, and consumers. By accessing or registering on our platform, you agree to comply with all local commercial regulations and maintain accurate business profile information.
2. Business Listings & Subscriptions
Business memberships are billed annually (e.g., ₹10,000 / year). Subscriptions grant access to storefront templates, booking tools, and directory placement. Fees are non-refundable once your digital storefront is provisioned and published.
3. User Conduct & Content
Store owners and users are solely responsible for the accuracy of content, product listings, reviews, and communications published through their dashboard. CHOWK reserves the right to suspend accounts that violate community safety or engage in fraudulent transactions.
4. Intellectual Property
All platform design elements, code templates, brand graphics, and software infrastructure remain the exclusive property of CHOWK. Store owners retain ownership over their proprietary business logos, product imagery, and custom textual content.
5. Limitation of Liability
CHOWK acts as an intermediary digital directory and SaaS provider. We are not directly liable for transactions, disputes, fulfillment issues, or services rendered between independent local businesses and their respective customers.
